Airtel has recnetly announced a monthly discount of Rs 50 for its Rs 399 myPlan Infinity postpaid offering, bringing its price to Rs 349. The offer is valid for a total of six months, thus offering a combined discount of Rs 300 to subscribers.
With the offer, Airtel’s entry-level postpaid offering will have a slightly better chance against Vodafone’s RED range of postpaid plans, which start at Rs 299. Oddly though, there are some taxes involved, which will increase the price of Airtel’s monthly postpaid offering to Rs 385, as noted by a report from Telecom Talk.
Talking about the benefits, Airtel’s Rs 399 postpaid plan offers a total of 20GB data per month with carry forward facility.
However, for 12 months, Airtel’s offering 20GB extra data per month, bringing the monthly data allowance included in the plan to 40GB (This is similar to what Vodafone offers with its RED 399 postpaid plan).
Voice calls are obviously unlimited (sans any FUP restrictions), and subscribers get 100 outgoing text messages per day as well.
The offering also comes with free subscription to Airtel TV and Wynk Musicthrown into the mix.
